Ron Webster took a book out of a library in 1953 at the University of Liverpool’s Library and has only returned the book 61 years later!Ron was working in the university’s Social Science Department. Ron Webster decided to return the book after he left school and went to work. But Ron forgot. The 91 year old thought the book was so good that he thought that it was a shame for the other students to miss out on reading it. Ron had a $7,651 fine but the liberian decided to forgive him for bringing the book back 61 years late. Ron Webster says that he will always return library books on time from now on.
